A single display case gleams in an otherwise empty vault.
A placard on the side claims:
"These games were written and developed by Nate Cull using TADS, the Text Adventure Development system. For more information, browse through the Briefing Room or send email to the author. Click on the links inside to retrieve a copy from the FTP Archive."
Inside the case, you can see:
A copy of Hero, Inc Part 1, a short fantasy set in a town beset by strange evils (including a mail-order Hero company).
A copy of Frobozz Magic Support, a short fantasy set in the world of Infocom's Zork (tm) and Enchanter (tm) games.
A copy of Glowgrass, a science fiction short story set in a remote historical excavation.
A bronze medal is pinned to 'Glowgrass' with the words "Third Place Winner, 3rd Annual Interactive Fiction Competition!"
A white note written in yellow Magic Marker stuck beside the medal says, "Bookmark this page! Glowgrass is being revised and expanded and will be rereleased here soon!"
A large sign beside the display case says "Note.
These games require the TADS runtime package to play. If you don't have
a runtime, get one now for PC or
Macintosh.
"For more information on TADS and what other operating systems may
be supported, visit the TADSPage
or rec.games.int-fiction newsgroup."
A guard lounges beside the doorway leading out into a
well-lighted room through which the sounds
of hearty discussion emerge.
