Sacred Springs observed from around the World! Basic Principles of Active Spirituality! Scientific Principles of Spiritual Properties!

This is one of my most favorite spots! This is an old , little known by the rest of the world, Sacred Site. The primary structure here is older than the Pyramids and Stonehenge!!! "If that is true," you must be saying,"then why have I never heard about it before?!" I don't know!!! For those of you who have Atlantian past life memories, this place will hold an extra special charm for you. I discovered it through many acts of sychronicity. In my "Vision Quest" to England to visit the Chalice Well I was also invited by a long time friend to come visit her in Ireland for Easter. She lives about 40 miles to the south of Dublin and she and her friends said "Oh! You MUST see this place just to the northwest of Dublin. And while there is not a prominent "spring" here, there is the most famous of Ireland's rivers, The Boyne that runs just behind it. For those of you who have studied sacred architecture....check this baby out! The whole front of it( which faces the sun's horizon in the winter) is made of fist size quartz stones that become energized by the suns rays every morning. Inter-spaced betwwen the quartz are egg-shaped river stones of granite, which by the way also contain quanities of quartz. I believe this sets up a very special electro-magnetic "fire" field that premotes altered-states conducive to meditation and healing of the soul. On the Winter Soltice the dawn light fills the inner chamber with light each year, even after 5,000 years! And it is still totally water poof inside after all this time. This strange dome shaped building also has a "mini-moat" around the back of the building and up to the sides where the quartz facade starts. It is my theory that this is NOT just an "ancient burial site" but was orginally built as a temple of meditation to do energy work in, for the coming year and as an ongoing Initation Chamber! They have not actually found any bodily remains inside, but only THINK there might be, because they don't know what else would be in there.

This magnificent place was accidentally re-discovered after many years in 1699. Restored faithfully and lovingly by Professor Michael J. O'Kelly from the Trinity College from 1962-75. There was a great deal of controversy about the quartz wall as nothing of it's kind has ever been seen before or since in such an ancient "tomb" and yet Prof. Kelly restored it as best he could according to the way the stones had fallen away from the mound. Situated in County Meath and rising to over 44 feet in height and 280 feet in diameter, it strikes a very impressive pose from miles around.

It is said to be the home of the "God of Love", Dagda. There are some really outstanding sites about New Grange and the cultural myths and legends of the area out there on the internet. For those of you interested in the stone work of these types of ancient places I recommend "www.stonepages.com" and click on Ireland and then New Grange for additional juicy info about this great place! And for those of you seeking more info on the Gods and Legends of this area and excellent site to visit is "www.primeline.net/~mut/celtic.htm". ENJOY!!!
