There are many mysteries that still remain in our world today. Even with all our modern technology and advanced sciences, we don't know that much. What I am trying to accomplish here is to make YOU aware of some areas that we either have no idea about or areas that are heavily debated.

I will try to post the sites with the most compelling evidence (and the ones I think aren't too far-fetched) pertaining to the subjects. I will supply the evidence, you read it, and if you have an opinion, you can email me and if its good (well-thought out) enough, I will post it somewhere on my page.

Ancient Civilizations:

These links explore civilizations that existed and flourished thousands of years ago, including my favorites, the Egyptian and Mayan. You might say, "what's so mysterious about these ancient civilizations"? Well, first of all, there is a lot we don't know about and probably will never know about them as time, nature, and man (by accident and by purpose) have combined forces to destroy a lot of archaeological data. Secondly, there is currently controversy about a lot of the accepted data. The Sphinx and the pyramids have been argued to have been constructed thousands of years before the currently accepted date based on new archaeological data, which would show that Man was more advanced thousands of years earlier than currently accepted. Also, the Mayan calendar, based on the cycle of Venus and the Sun, is much more complicated than our calendar, and still has aspects that we don't understand, has an exact date for the end of this age of mankind - Dec. 22, 2012 - which my countdown clock above shows how much time is left until then. I don't necessarily believe the world will end on that date, but you never know. And by the way, this date has also been predicted as the end of the world by other ancient civilizations.
