Sherwood Lawn Bowling Club is situated in an ideal location with one green "8 rinks." Just five minutes from down town Charlottetown, the Cradle of Confederation, the Club is easily accessible, being only minutes away from downtown The club is located off Maple Avenue behind the Sherwood Sportsplex.

| Sherwood Lawn Bowling Club membership fee is only $95.00 per year. |
| The year 2000 marked the 20th Anniversary of the Sherwood Lawn Bowling Club. Lawn Bowls began originally at Dalvay By the Sea Inn in 1972. The Club moved to its present location in 1980 and today the membership totals nearly 100 members. Many bowlers enjoy the Companionship and Competition involved in this sport. | |
| Our greens are the best this side of Alberta. The Club has hosted many events including the Junior Canadian Championships in 1997. The green is maintained by the city of Charlottetown. The club is the owner of the finest equipment available which accounts for our excellent condition. We invite the people of the Community, the surrounding area and other Provinces to drop in and try the sport. |
Lawn Bowling
A game for ages 7 to 97 come, enjoy a sport that takes skill and practice. The basics of the game are easy to learn, but to play at a competitive level the game required skill and practice. The Sherwood Lawn Bowling Club has produced some of the best players in the Maritimes. Lawn Bowling provides an Opportunity to: - Participate in physical activity with people of all ages. - Enjoy a competitive sport if you wish. - Travel to other provinces to compete against the best in the Maritimes and the rest of Canada. Why not drop by and try the game.
Over the past few years the Sherwood Lawn Bowling club and the PEI Association are working very hard to obtain new Junior bowlers. They hope to have at least twenty new Junior members by the year 2001. If you are under 25 and like competition, or just play for fun, well this is the game for you, it's not expensive and great to play, the cost to bowl for the year is only $20.00 for a membership. All the equipment is available at the club and yours to use.
