Welcome to my part of the cyber-world!

This is me tossing coins into the Trevi Fountain in Rome, at the tail end of a Jubilee year pilgrimage that included both Israel and Italy. Click on the photo to see a couple of other pictures of me. |
Hello, and welcome to my little museum! (I use that word in its original sense of a place sacred to the Muses, and thus dedicated to learning and the arts. I'm also fond of it because in the old days when I used to hang out on IRC, I went by the nickname "Muse" and would, naturally, name the private channel where I hung out #museum.) I hope you'll enjoy your visit.
Given that I'm trying very hard to become a recovering perfectionist, this page is likely to be in a fairly constant state of flux — so much for Lucretius' claim (De rerum natura III.945) that "everything's always the same." I'll do my best to keep it running smoothly, but if you find a link or other feature that is consistently not working, please send me e-mail (there's a link below for that) and I'll get it fixed, if it can be.

Once upon a time, I could tell you how many people had stopped by my page, but Yahoo!GeoCities has messed with the counter setup so many times I can't bother with the math anymore. The above number is merely an approximation!
