Baptisms. Some directions are given here.
Confirmation: We try to have our Confirmation at the Patronal Festival, in early May. The Rector conducts 12 weekly or fortnightly classes each year for younger candidates. Prospective candidates should speak with the Rector early in the year.
Marriages: (including, with the specific permission of the Archbishop, remarriage) by appointment with the Rector.
Confession and Direction: By appointment with the Rector.
Anointing: A ministry of the laying on of hands and anointing happens each 4th Sunday during the 9.30am service. No names or reasons are used.
Burials: There is a "funeral wishes" book for people to write down the details of the service for the guidance of their family. Services are conducted both in the Church, at the graveside and at the chapels at the crematorium. A list of suggested funeral hymns can be found here.

St Philip's is a daughter church of St Jude's Brighton. The original mission begun in 1953 and the new Church was dedicated and licenced in 1972. North Brighton and Somerton Park are seaside suburbs about three kms south of Glenelg and twelve kms south west of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia.
