Christopher Reeve is a relatively unknown actor when brilliantly cast as the Man of Steel for the 1978 motion picture, Superman: the Movie . To many he is synonymous with Superman. He is not related to Steve or George, and despite a respectable film career and constant media coverage in the past twenty years, people often still say "Reeves."
