Star Trek: U.S.S. Icarus

Campaigns

These Icarus webpages actually detail the adventures of a series of ships from various campaigns.  For clarification, the games have been:

·        Fall 1998-Summer 1999 – The adventures initially took place aboard the Galaxy-class starship Quetzalcoatl, though they soon moved to her sistership, the Icarus.  The main characters were Lieutenant Commander Carry (human Chief Engineer possessed by the soul of an ancient Klingon warrior), Lieutenant Jasmine (Trill, later Jasmine Kharn, science officer, later command officer), and Doctor T’Ka (Vulcan Medical Officer).  The game was concurrent with Season 5 of TNG.

·        Spring-Summer 2000 – The adventures of U.S.S. H.G. Wells, a modified Defiant-class escort, originally named Avenger.  The H.G. Wells found herself lost in time, jumping to different times and dimensions.  Half of her Starfleet crew was lost in the first adventure, forcing the remaining crew to work with smugglers, Klingons, and Romulans who had also been lost with them.  The main characters were Lieutenant Commander K’mpec (Human/Klingon mix, Starfleet, originally first officer, later commanding officer), Ayrton of the Tal Shiar (Romulan, became chief of security), Alexia Waras (Betazoid, Starfleet, Chief Medical Officer), Krel Ardana (Cardassian, Smuggler, became chief engineer), and Lieutenant Ophella Tar (Joined Trill, Starfleet, Chief Science Officer).  The game started almost immediately after the end of the Dominion War, concurrent with Season 6 of Voyager.  However the Wells was soon lost in space and time.  When her crew made it back home, about six months had passed.

·        Summer-Fall 2001 – The adventures of I.K.V. borta’SwI, a Klingon Bird of Prey during the Dominion War.  The main characters are Lieutenant Commander L’Sonna (Acting Commanding Officer), Doctor Cassie York (Betazoid Medical Officer, on loan from Starfleet), and Lieutenant Solok (Vulcan Tactical Officer, also on loan from Starfleet).  The game takes place concurrent with seasons six and seven of Deep Space Nine, focused on the Dominion War.  It should be noted this takes place prior to the H.G. Wells game despite being played after it.  Some characters from the Icarus and Wells games made guest appearances in this game.

·        Fall 2001 – We go back to the beginning…  A game set in the 23rd century aboard the Constitution-class U.S.S. Icarus.
