This is another interesting image that lacks provenience. The story goes that this car was associated with tragedy-- possibly its young owner was killed or committed suicide, or the car was involved in a fatal accident. The photo appears to show the dark silhouette of a man between the treeline and the vehicle. While chilling at first glimpse, when the image is enlarged, it appears that the ghost has a football-shaped head and no neck. In reality, the ghost may be a man-made object such as a wooden garden gate.

Ready for the Road.

This image by Roy (ekquieres@hotmail.com) appeared on another parnormal site with the following comments: "I work in law enforcement for a living, but I am an amateur photographer for a hobby. I was taking a picture of an old truck off of Honey Run Road in Chico, California. I swear that I saw nobody inside of this truck when I took this picture. I even walked right up it. Later when I downloaded the picture onto my computer, I looked closer at what I thought was part of the rear window and it is clearly a face (close-up above, full image below). It appears to be looking right at me when I took this. Your thoughts? I am thoroughly creeped out."While I agree that at first glace the face could be composed of background elements, a closer view makes pure chance seem unlikely. As always, I welcome input from photo professionals.
