FAIRE ETIQUETE
When you are in garb, there is a certain way to act. The general assumtion of the other non-garbed fairegoers will be that you work there. Because of this, we need to present ourselves like we do. This involves addressing the true faire employees in the proper manner and posing for a photo should someone ask. The photo part doesn't happen very often, but it is a possibility. You should speak in an accent as much as possible, but, if you slip noone will flog you. I also encourage you to be loud, have fun. This is a huge party in Bristol Chire, and if you don't have fun you're not taking full advantage of it.There are a few easy to remember rules on how to address people. If you are speaking to a noble, and you will be able to spot them, address them as "my lord". If it is a woman of nobility, you guessed it, "my lady". These are highly influencial people, and are entitled to respect, as they may be the ones that own the land you live on.One other person to watch for is a middle aged woman wearing a very fancy dress. She is usually surrounded by about 6 guards. This is Queen Elizabeth I. If she speaks to you, you will address her as "your grace" or "your majesty". And whenever someone says "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN" you will shout out "GOD SAVE THE QUEEN".If you remember these few things, you will do just fine. Besides the usuall courtesy that you normally give everyone else, there is nothing more you need to know.
