Kindred:The Embraced

      As the scene opens, Cash and Sasha are meeting secretly so Julian won't find out they're together. Cash is a little reluctant, but allows himself to be seduced by Sasha.

      A Brujah is meeting with Eddie in the Dock Worker's Union building, telling him that they are fighting Gangrel and might possibly start another Clan War. Eddie seems to think a Clan War would be good, since the Nosferatu won't involve themselves. Eddie complains about Julian's treatment of the Brujah, how he makes them lose business by having to adhere to human laws. He says he will force Julian to start a Clan War so the Brujah can gain power.

      Cash and Sasha have spent some time together, when someone knocks on the door and yells for Cash to open the door. A Gangrel woman is outside, telling Cash that the Brujah killed a Gangrel. Cash tells Sasha to go back to Julian's mansion, then runs out the door with the other Gangrel.

      At the Haven, a large group of Brujah men saunter in and sit at a table. Julian, watching from above, tells Lillie he thinks they're looking for a fight. Cash comes in and stands next to the Gangrel at the bar. Sasha has followed him in, and he tells her to leave. She becomes angry when he won't dance with her, and goes to flirt with the Brujah. One dances with her, making Cash jealous. Before he can intervene, Julian steps in and throws the Brujah against the wall, giving Eddie a warning look. Eddie decides to use Sasha to make Julian angry.

      Later, Cash comes to talk to Julian at the mansion. Julian already knows the Brujah are looking for a war, and tells Cash to keep the Gangrel from fighting. Cash defends his Clan, saying the Brujah will fight no matter what. Then Cash asks for permission to Embrace Sasha. Julian becomes angry and refuses.

      Caitlin is talking to Julian about a story she is working on, about a doctor at a children's hospital. The children are all anemic. Julian recognizes the doctor as Kindred and realizes he is feeding off the children. He becomes angry. He goes to Daedelus and asks him to visit the doctor.

      At the hospital, the doctor is feeding when he realizes another child has seen him. He goes into the boy's room, but suddenly the lights go out. The doctor goes into the hallway and meets Daedelus, who tells him the prince has called a Blood Hunt on him. He tries to run, but Daedelus catches him and kills him, then goes to stuff him into the incinerator in the basement.

      While Daedelus is disposing of the body, the boy comes and sits next to him, unafraid. The boy asks Daedelus if he is a monster, and why he killed the doctor. Daedelus tells him not to be afraid, that he stopped the doctor from hurting them. The boy, Abel, is dying. He also reveales his unique gift. He recognizes Kindred from humans. Daedelus brings the boy to his Lair, but Julian comes and tells Daedelus the boy must go back to the hospital. Daedelus asks Julian to Embrace the boy and make him Ventrue. Julian refuses, saying he can't Embrace a child.

      Sasha goes back to the Haven, and sits at the table with Lillie and Julian. She tells Julian she loves Cash and wants to be with him, but Julian is reluctant. She says she knows there's something about him, and Cash, and Lillie, and that she wants to be like them. After she leaves, Lillie remarks that Sasha just joined the family. Later, Julian meets Cash and says that he tried to protect Sasha, but its beyond his power and responsibility. He gives Cash permission to Embrace Sasha.

      When Cash goes back, the door is locked and he can't get in. He breaks down the door and sees Brujah Embracing Sasha forcefully. He fights, but there are too many of them. They Embrace Sasha and take her away, saying she's Brujah now and will stay with them.

       Julian is in his mansion, talking with Archon. Cash bursts in, telling him that the Brujah Embraced Sasha. Julian flies to Eddie and accuses him, saying if Eddie doesn't bring Sasha and the head of the Brujah that took her, Eddie will die.

      Frank enters the basement and finds Sonny and another man digging through the incinerator. They tell him how the doctor disappeared. Frank starts digging through the incinerator and finds a skull.

      Julian visits Daedelus, asking him what the Nosferatu will do if there's a war. Daedelus says the Nosferatu will do nothing. Julian asks again, but Daedelus again refuses. Julian tells Daedelus the boy must go back to the hospital. Daedelus takes the boy back, saying he will visit. Abel asks Daedelus to help him, keep him from dying. Daedelus cautions the boy to never speak of him, then disappears. Later, Frank is questioning Abel, but he won't talk.

      Cash rides up on his bike and picks Sasha up from the Brujah before they can stop him. He takes her away and tells her about what they are. He tells her about the enmity between the Brujah and Gangrel, and she asks if they will become enemies. He says he doesn't know, but they can try. As the sun is coming up, Sasha feels pain from her hunger. Cash cuts his arm and gives her his blood.

      At the hospital, Frank is still trying to get Abel to talk. Caitlin shows up, and when Frank turns to talk to her Abel runs away. Frank chases him. Abel runs down to the basement and finds Daedelus. Daedelus grabs Frank and starts to choke him, but Abel and Sonny stop him. Frank sees that Sonny is Kindred, but Sonny hypnotizes him and forces him to forget.

      Daedelus leaves Abel at the hospital again, but before he leaves he gives the boy a potion that will cure him. Abel wakes up, and later is found to have completely recovered from what he was dying of.

      The Brujah are collected in an abandoned warehouse. A huge group of Ventrue and Gangrel approach, led by Julian, Archon, and Sonny. Julian warns Eddie not to start a war, but Eddie says he would rather fight than serve Julian. Suddenly Lillie enters, leading Cash and Sasha and followed by a group of Toreadors. Eddie calls for Sasha, but she turns to Julian. Julian welcomes her, and Eddie pulls a gun. Every other Kindred pulls a gun, when out of the shadows come the Nosferatu. Eddie tells the Brujah to stay, but they run, leaving only Eddie and the Brujah that Embraced Sasha. The Nosferatu attack and kill that Brujah, and they take Eddie hostage. Sasha goes and apoligizes to Julian, but he says he will always welcome her, no matter what her Clan is.

      The next day Eddie is dumped out in the burning sun. He calls for Julian and begs for mercy. The sun burns him, and he tries to hide. A car pulls up, and Julian steps out. He warns Eddie that Eddie only exists because he allows it. Then he gets back in the car. The trunk opens, and Eddie crawls inside.
