Sleipnir
Sleipnir makes his claim to fame in Final Fantasy III but
this is where his solo act ends. Being Odin's horse Sleipnir only
appears in later games accompanying Odin. What's odd is that Odin
also makes his first appearence in III riding a horse; albeit
a regular four legged horse, as is his horse in IV and VI.
In V, VII, VIII, IX, and Tactics Odin can be seen riding
a six legged horse that can only be Sleipnir less one pair of legs.

and show the summon monster Odin and the random
monster Sleipnir.

These images from Final Fantasy IV of the summon
monster Odin first show him battling the player's party
with two different poses. After he has been defeated he
will work for the party by battling their enemies, which
is shown in the third image. Click on the images to enlarge.
