| There's been no updates for a while because I've been too busy with real life to map. However, I now have some mildly exciting news. I'm working on two new TFC maps. I should release the first before too long. One is a dustbowl style progressive attack/defend map. The other is an inverted capture-the-flag with multiple cap-points. | After being nagged by several old Team Fortress friends, I decided to go old school one last time. I've recently released a new qwtf map, Ricochet. Downloadable here. This map is not in a standard capture-the-flag style. It involves three capture points per team. Each offense must go to the opposing team's base and take the flag to the each of the three capture points within that base. However, the third capture point is unavailable until the first two are captured, in either order. -Greymon, May 9, 2001 |

| As you can tell from this pic, excel2 doesnt look like the standard TFC map. The layout is quite simple, I've just tried to make a map with a different "feel" to it. | The Valley Arena is my first creation for TFC. Fans of svalley4, or its predecessors, will recognize the screenshot above. It is the main ramp room of the red base. Valley Arena still has many of the features of the original, such as the long, open yard with dual catwalks, and the detpackable Control Room. Gameplay will be very similar though scoring is different to reflect how TFC is played. I've tried to give this map a very different feel from the clinical ambience of most TFC maps. Outside, I attempted to make the map look like dusk while inside features varying textures and lighting. There are some wide hallways and some extremely narrow ones to bring some variety to combat. I predict most people will enjoy the outdoor combat most of all. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
